OPTIC (UK) have received official confirmation from the Scottish Ophthalmological Club (SOC) that the meeting in September 2020 in Glasgow has been cancelled. The spring meeting is planned for Friday 19th February 2021 at the Marriott Hotel, Glasgow.

OPTIC (UK) has been advised that the 2020 104th Oxford Ophthalmlogical Congress has been cancelled. The 104th Congress will now run in 2021. More information can be found here

The 2019 Oxford Ophthalmological Congress (OOC) took place  8th - 10th July 2019 with the commercial exhibition, which was organised by OPTIC UK on 8th and 9th July 2019  in the Randolph Hotel, Oxford.  There was compliamentary lunch and refreshments for all delegates courtesy of the exhibiting companies. The Oxford Scientific venue was The New Theatre for the programme and poster display.

OPTIC (UK) has been informed by The Royal College of Ophthamologists that in response to official advice & monitoring of the COVID19 outbreak, they have cancelled this years congress which was due to take place at the ICC, Birmingham. OPTIC (UK) can also confirm that the concurrent industry exhibition will also not take place.

The 2021 RCOphth Congress will be 24th-27th May 2021 and will take place at the ACC in Liverpool.
