In 2019, the RCOphth Annual Congress will take place in Glasgow for the first time in 20 years. The Congress will be hosted at SEC, Glasgow. Futher information can be found here

Professor David Mackey, Managing Director of the Lions Eye Institute and Professor of Ophthalmology/ Director of the Centre for Ophthalmology & Visual Science at the University of Western Australia will give the Edridge Green Lecture
Professor M Francesca Cordeiro, Professor of Ophthalmology at Imperial College London will be delivering the 2019 Duke Elder Lecture
Professor Robert MacLaren, Oxford Eye Hospital will give the Keeler Lecture
Professor Anthony Moore, Honorary Consultant Ophthalmologist, Moorfields Eye Hospital will give the Optic UK Lecture

We have been advised by SWOS of definite dates for this years meetings, although as yet no programmes or sponsor fees have yet been confirmed.
There are three this year, one of which is abroad in Crete, running from 20th to 23rd June in Heraklion, Crete.
The two UK meetings are:
Friday 7th June, venue is Tracy Park near Bath, although this has yet to be confirmed.
Friday 15th November at The Clifton Pavilion, Bristol.
